IGO denounced the executions carried out by the Iranian authorities against Kurds in Eastern Kurdistan. “The situation in Kurdistan shows that even after a moderate President came to power in Iran, the human rights situation remains the same”said IGO .
“Kurdish activists Habibolla Golparipor and Reza Ismaiily and another young Kurdish activist Sherko Maerefi have been executed by Iranian authorities” some sources from “The Independence Party of Kurdistan” reported to IGO, ”there are another 24 Kurdish activist in Iranian prisons who are in danger of facing execution at any moment.”
The sources confirmed that all non-Persian people, who have been appended to Iran forcibly, are victims to Iranian regime, living under ongoing danger of genocides or mass executions against them. Furthermore, in the last two weeks six individuals from Arab Ahwaz and 16 activists from Baluchistan have been executed by the Iranian authorities.
IGO believes that these mass executions are totally against international law standards, noting that these executions show that the human rights situation has not changed since the new President Hassan Roohani took the power succeeding Ahmadi Nejad in August 2013.
